Lava Iris 88
Lava Iris 88 fits right into the description of a smartphone of 2018. It has the elongated 18:9 aspect ratio with thin bezels. Inside, the phone is powered by an entry-level MediaTek processor. Games are no go, but normal day to day tasks and apps like calls, and Facebook will run pretty smoothly considering you aren’t downloading a large file in Chrome simultaneously. A 2GB RAM is pretty normal at this price and it helps the phone run smoothly but it won’t be good enough for extensive multitasking.
The cameras are yet to be tested but don’t expect to be amazed by the results. They will click the photo you want but how fast and how good remains to be seen. What’s great is that the phone comes with Android 8.1 out of the box which means you’ll get security updates and patches well into the future. The internal storage is a little on the low side though the 16GB is typical in the price range.

Lava Iris 65
The price of Iris 65 is the main attraction for the Lava Iris 65. But that’s about the only thing that can intrigue people to buy this phone. While an HD resolution in a phone below 10K is not bad, 8GB storage is low in 2018. Also the numbers on the cameras are not so great. CG OMEGA 6, which is priced similar to the Lava Iris 65, has a dual 12+2 MP cameras on the back. Also, it’s display uses IPS technology.
If you are looking for a no-frills phone that you want for just calling and texting, Lava Iris 65 might be worth taking a look. But, if you want to do something more, like use Facebook and YouTube, or Chrome, you should look at something that is more powerful than the Iris 65. Something with at least 2GB of RAM. you need.

Lava R3
Lava R3 is the most expensive phone you’d find on this list. It is also the best looking lava phone on this list. The Lava R3 comes with a 5.7-inch HD MediaTek MT6737 Processor which is an entry-level chipset. So, you aren’t getting that much power for your money. However, you are getting 3GB RAM. Everyday tasks like calling and Facebook will run fine but don’t think about gaming on this thing.
The screen is an HD screen with 18:9 aspect ratio that makes the phone feel modern. It comes with a 13 MP f/2.2 aperture rear shooter that is capable of shooting photos with bokeh effects. The 8 MP f/2.0 front-facing shooter is also capable of bokeh effects. The front camera also has a Face unlock feature that it calls the “Face ID”. So, you won’t have to tap your finger on the fingerprint sensor on the back everytime you unlock your phone. However, at Rs. 19,999, this phone feels overpriced for including such underpowered CPU.

Lava Iris 50
Lava Iris 50 is not a phone to buy if you are enthusiastic about buying your next phone. It has a very mediocre MediaTek Processor, an FWVGA screen which is not even of HD resolution. So, you will suffer in terms of performance and the processes you see won’t look so great on that screen. The cameras are not good performers. They click photos and that’s all we can say about them. The 2000mAh further trims down the reasons to buy this phone. A 2000mAh won’t last you a full day if you use your phone often on the day.
